About Morrison Music
Morrison Music was created to share the joy and connection that music offers. Whether that’s by helping develop skills or a love of music through lessons or workshops, or through entertaining live events, we want people of all ages to experience music for life.
While we’re in our infancy, we’ll be offering private lessons, sharing local music events and resources through our blog and newsletter, and connecting local musicians with opportunities to perform. Our long-term goal is to offer workshops and masterclasses, as well as hosting live music events throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes.
About Graeme Morrison
Morrison Music was founded by Graeme Morrison, a life-long musician born and raised in Lindsay, Ontario. Thanks to his upbringing in a musical household (shout out mom and dad!), he’s gained a love of, and obsession with, music. Now that he’s (old and) raising his own family in Lindsay, he wants to contribute to the local music scene that gave him so many opportunities in his youth.
He studied jazz performance at Humber College and has experience playing a wide range of genres, including jazz, funk, rock, and more.
Graeme’s been teaching private bass and guitar lessons since he was in high school, and has experience teaching a variety of ages, skill levels and learning styles.
